Fresh off a fifth annual $1,000,000 Christmas fundraising campaign (in which over 5,000 travelers gave $100 matched by Rick — thank you!), Rick and Bread for the World president Eugene Cho give an update on the fight to end world hunger: the bad news, the hope-filled news, and why American taxpayers should understand this work as a practical investment in a stable world. Plus, we'll learn how Bread for the World is speaking up for hungry people in the halls of Congress — and why Rick has been supporting their work for 40 years.

Loire to the South of France with Claire McCarroll

This event was recorded on March 16, 2026.

Our Loire to the South of France tour knits together a tasty collection of vibrant markets, verdant river valleys, and honey-colored hamlets. For the benefit of the France-curious, public historian and France guide Claire McCarroll provides a highlight reel of these uniquely French treats. We start at Chartres Cathedral, home to some of the world's finest medieval stained glass, before exploring the fairytale châteaux that litter the Loire Valley. We go underground to see the 13,000-year-old artwork of Rouffignac Cave, then end our journey in seaside Nice. Along the way, Claire weaves in tales of powerful women in history.
